Job summary

Morson Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead highways and civil engineering works on a major infrastructure program in Warrington. You will drive delivery, safety, and quality, coordinating site teams, contractors and stakeholders to meet programme and budget targets.

Key requirements include proven highways/civil project delivery, SMSTS, NEC contract knowledge, and strong leadership with excellent communication.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Project Manager within highways, infrastructure or civil engineering.
Experience delivering roadworks, earthworks, structures or major civils projects.
SMSTS certification.
CSCS Black or White Manager-level card.
Strong commercial awareness and programme management skills.
Knowledge of NEC contracts or similar forms of contract.
Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Lead the planning, coordination and delivery of highways and major civil engineering works.
Manage site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, labour and resources.
Monitor project programmes, budgets, progress and commercial performance.
Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality requirements.
Liaise with clients, local authorities and key stakeholders.
Oversee contract administration, change control and reporting.
Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety and project delivery.
