Niyaa People Ltd is recruiting a Commercial Contract Manager to join a specialist procurement consultancy serving public-sector and housing organisations across the UK. This hands-on role focuses on construction contracts, risk, and procurement.

You will review contracts for public-sector and housing clients, advise on variations, and help negotiate changes to live agreements, translating complex terms into practical guidance for clients and stakeholders.

Formación

• Experience within the public sector, housing sector or similar environments.
• Strong practical construction contract experience across live projects.
• Familiarity with JCT and NEC contract forms.
• Ability to identify contractual risks and translate them into clear guidance.
• Experience supporting procurement and tender exercises.

Responsabilidades

• Review and advise on construction and commercial contracts for public-sector and housing clients.
• Support clients operating under live contracts and advise on variations or changes.
• Identify and explain contract rights, obligations and risk to clients.
• Support negotiations and amendments to contracts as required.
• Review documents from clients, suppliers and other parties for potential changes.
• Provide commercial input into procurement and tender exercises and contract awards.
