Devon County Council is recruiting an Accountant in the Finance Service, offering professional financial support to both Devon County Council and the Devon and Torbay Combined County Authority. Work across two organisations, delivering robust budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting with senior stakeholders.

The role is based at County Hall, Exeter, with hybrid working arrangements available and opportunities to develop strategic finance skills across a growing authority.

Qualifications

• Experience in budget management

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality financial management support to Devon County Council and the DTCCA
• Support budget monitoring, forecasting and performance reporting
• Contribute to annual budget-setting and year-end closure of accounts
