Job summary

Devon County Council is seeking a Senior Financial Systems Support Analyst to help shape the future of local government in Devon. The role sits in the Financial Information Systems Team and focuses on analysis, design and implementation of finance system changes to support Local Government Reorganisation.

You will work with colleagues across Devon's councils to gather information on current systems and processes, identify improvements and assist with testing and implementation.

Qualifications

• Has experience supporting, administering or developing complex business systems.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and present complex information.
• Experience gathering requirements and identifying improvements.
• Ability to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience working with large datasets to support decision-making.
• Able to support system configuration, testing and implementation activities.

Responsibilities

• Support analysis, design and implementation of finance system changes for LGR.
• Gather and analyse information about existing finance systems, processes and data.
• Identify opportunities for alignment and improvement across Devon councils.
• Assist with configuration, testing and rollout of system changes.
