Job summary

Red Snapper Recruitment is recruiting for an OCGM and Police GENGA Coordinator to support Organised Crime Group Mapping and the GENGA partnership network in Blackburn. You will work with police teams and partners to deliver 4P objectives—Prevent, Protect, Pursue and Prepare—and handle sensitive information with discretion.

The role requires policing/intelligence experience, data analysis skills and the ability to coordinate multi-agency activity across Lancashire.

Qualifications

• Experience handling intelligence and/or organised crime information.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation/policies relating to organised crime and intelligence.
• Experience using police databases or intelligence systems to research and record information.
• Ability to interrogate computer systems and produce reports and MI.
• Experience working with multiple internal/external partner agencies.
• Ability to advise colleagues on policies and procedures.
• Strong partnership working to protect communities and reduce risk.
• Excellent written information with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the OCGM process for the relevant BCU with accurate data.Collate information from internal teams and external partners to maintain an accurate picture.
• Review OCG databases for consistency, impartiality and harm assessment.
• Support tasking by updating on threats and partner-disruption opportunities.
• Assist with 4P management reports and action plans.
• Act as a local contact for GENGA referrals and referrals from partners.
• Organise local multi-agency GENGA meetings with agendas and briefs.
• Maintain relationships with partner agencies and support collaborative problem solving.
• Develop communication channels between partners to maximise intelligence use.
• Coordinate the PAM IT platform to support 4P management and referrals.
• Support activity from local crime profiles and responses.
• Maintain understanding of available intelligence assets and joint responses.
• Support Lead in maintaining OCGM/partnership approach.
• Assist frontline staff with engaging in the GENGA process.
• Maintain directories of partner organisations, tools and powers.
• Work with civil enforcement teams on civil orders against targets.
• Produce accurate written information, reports and MI.
• Undertake other duties as required.
