Job summary

The Opportunity Hub UK is seeking an Account Executive to support day-to-day PR activity across construction and built environment clients, helping to shape compelling stories and media outreach. This is an excellent chance to develop industry knowledge while delivering impactful campaigns and maintaining strong media contacts.

You will develop writing, content creation and media relationships in a creative, fast-paced agency setting, with clear progression opportunities and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Strong writing and PR background with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proven experience in public relations or communications.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Confident in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills for building client and media relationships.
• Familiar with industry-standard software and digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Research, pitch, write and publish news releases for clients.
• Write articles for client magazines, newsletters and external publications.
• Create speeches, ad copy, brochure content and website copy.
• Support strategy documents and communications plans aligned to client objectives.
• Travel to UK and international locations to gather information.
• Build and maintain strong media relationships to maximise coverage.
• Act as media enquiries contact and provide accurate information.
• Coordinate photography and work with contractors and clients on visuals.
• Benchmark client activity to ensure alignment with industry best practice.
