Job summary

Harnham is seeking a capable research professional to own end-to-end public opinion projects, from scoping to final presentation, including client communication and delivery. You will design surveys, oversee fieldwork, analyse findings, and translate data into clear insights.

You'll work with cross-disciplinary teams across research, analytics, data science and technology, exploring AI-enabled methods and opportunities for new business.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering quantitative research from design to presentation.
• Experience on public opinion, social, or policy research programs.
• Strong client-facing skills and stakeholder management.
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Experience contributing to proposals or responses to tenders.
• Strong project management and organisational abilities.
• Familiarity with data visualization and storytelling.
• Interest in applying AI to research workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end research projects from scoping to final presentation.
• Design surveys, oversee fieldwork, analyse findings, and report insights.
• Be primary client contact and manage expectations.
• Develop client relationships and identify new research opportunities.
• Support proposals, pitches and business development with seniors.
• Conduct original research and contribute to thought leadership.
• Present findings to senior stakeholders and explain insights.
• Mentor junior team members and share knowledge.
• Support process improvements and AI-enabled research delivery.
• Manage multiple projects with quality and client satisfaction.
