Job summary

Chadwick Nott - South West and South Wales is seeking a Solicitor or Associate to join a nationally recognised Insurance & Public Risk team in Cardiff. The role focuses on public and healthcare law within a collaborative, high-calibre environment at the intersection of regulation and emerging technologies.

You will advise NHS bodies and regulators, perform and defend judicial reviews, draft court documents and support information law work (FOIA, DPA, EIR).

Qualifications

• Experience in public law, regulatory law or healthcare-related matters.
• Experience working with NHS bodies, government regulators or other public sector clients would be advantageous.
• Strong drafting and advocacy skills in a regulatory context.

Responsibilities

• Advise on public law, health law and regulatory matters.
• Conduct and defend judicial review proceedings.
• Draft pre-action correspondence, pleadings and court documents.
• Support information law matters (FOIA, DPA, EIR).
• Advise healthcare and life sciences organisations on complex regulatory issues.
