Job summary

Chadwick Nott - South West and South Wales is seeking a Solicitor or Associate to join a nationally recognised Insurance & Public Risk team in Cardiff. The role focuses on public and healthcare law within a collaborative, high-calibre environment at the intersection of regulation and emerging technologies.

You will advise NHS bodies and regulators, perform and defend judicial reviews, draft court documents and support information law work (FOIA, DPA, EIR).

Qualifications

• Experience in public law, regulatory law or healthcare-related matters.
• Experience working with NHS bodies, government regulators or other public sector clients would be advantageous.
• Strong drafting and advocacy skills in a regulatory context.

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an Associate Solicitor to join a nationally recognised Insurance & Public Risk team, advising on complex public, regulatory and health law matters. This role offers the chance to work on high-profile cases at the intersection of healthcare, regulation and emerging technologies.

The successful candidate will join a highly respected team of specialist lawyers advising NHS bodies, independent healthcare providers, regulatory authorities and organisations operating within the life sciences sector. The work is varied, intellectually stimulating and at the forefront of regulatory developments, including medicines, medical devices, novel technologies and AI.

The role will involve:

• Advising on public law, health law and regulatory matters
