Job summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is seeking a passionate engagement specialist to develop and drive patient and family involvement across Community Paediatrics, CAMHS and Acute Paediatrics.

You will collaborate with the PEPI team to ensure the voices of children and carers inform service planning, design and improvement, with a focus on inclusive participation and person-centred care.

Qualifications

• Degree level qualification or equivalent experience.
• Significant experience in community engagement or public involvement.
• Knowledge of Patients’ Rights (Scotland) Act 2011.
• Experience designing engagement plans and stakeholder mapping.
• Experience in training design and delivery.
• Understanding of quality improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Support engagement across Community Paediatrics, CAMHS and Acute Paediatrics.
• Design, deliver and evaluate engagement activities with children, families and communities.
• Provide expert advice on engagement approaches to staff and clinical teams.
• Develop training programmes and produce engagement reports.
• Maintain partnerships with stakeholders and voluntary groups.
• Lead on digital engagement and social media initiatives.
