Qualifications

• Degree educated or equivalent knowledge and experience in engagement, involvement or programme management.
• Significant experience working with a diverse range of stakeholders, communities and partner organisations.
• Strong knowledge of engagement methodologies, consultation approaches and person-centred care principles.
• Experience leading service improvement, engagement or transformation programmes within complex organisations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver patient experience and public involvement programmes that support service planning, redesign and improvement.
• Provide expert advice and guidance on engagement, participation and person-centred approaches to care.
• Develop and manage engagement activities that ensure patients, carers and communities influence healthcare decisions.
• Design and deliver training programmes to build staff knowledge, confidence and capability in patient and public involvement.
• Analyse feedback, evaluate outcomes and prepare reports that support quality improvement and organisational learning.
• Build effective partnerships with internal and external stakeholders including community groups, statutory agencies and third sector organisations.
• Manage projects, resources and staff to ensure successful delivery of programme objectives within agreed timescales.
