Carrington West is seeking a Public Health Design Engineer for a London-based contract with hybrid working options. You will design public health systems, produce calculations and specifications, and support projects from concept to construction on diverse schemes.

Ideal candidates have UK-regulations familiarity, Revit/BIM experience, and a track record across building types. This contract offers a collaborative environment with a respected consultancy delivering landmark projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Public Health Design Engineer within the building services sector.
• Engineering qualification in Building Services or Public Health Engineering.
• Strong technical knowledge of public health building services systems.
• Experience producing detailed design calculations and specifications.
• Familiarity with current UK regulations, standards and design guidance.
• Experience working on a variety of building projects.

Responsabilités

• Design public health systems for diverse building projects.
• Produce calculations, specifications, reports, and design documentation.
• Develop designs for domestic water, hot and cold water systems, drainage, rainwater harvesting, and greywater solutions.
• Support projects from concept through detailed design and construction.
• Coordinate designs with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Attend design meetings, site visits and client workshops.
• Ensure designs comply with current regulations, standards and best practices.
• Assist with technical reviews and design coordination activities.
