Job summary

RED is seeking a Principal Public Health Engineer to lead public health design for major buildings in London. The role involves running large projects, leading the PH discipline, and interfacing with architects, clients and contractors to ensure specification compliance and robust design solutions.

The candidate should have MSc/BEng or equivalent, 7+ years in Public Health engineering, and strong knowledge of UK standards, with a flexible, collaborative approach in a hybrid London office

Qualifications

• MSc/BEng or equivalent experience in Public Health design.
• Minimum of 7 years' experience in Public Health engineering.
• Knowledge of sustainable design incl. solar hot water systems, rainwater/recycling.
• Experience with UK/International large consultancy on major design projects.

Responsibilities

• Run large projects and take client-facing role in development and design.
• Lead PH discipline deliverables and mentor junior staff.
• Interface with architects and design teams to ensure compliance with standards.
• Ensure compliance with relevant British/European standards and Codes.
