Job summary

Hotel Indigo Bath, a boutique hotel in Bath, is seeking a Public Area Attendant to join our Housekeeping team. You will maintain cleanliness in public areas and storage spaces, assist guests with queries, and escalate maintenance needs to keep our guests comfortable. We are looking for someone outgoing, energetic and passionate about delivering excellent service.

Previous experience helps but is not essential. All applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing hospitality roles is helpful but not essential.
• Able to communicate clearly and work as part of a team.
• Proactive and able to work under own initiative.

Grade one listed our building is steeped in history and sits in the peaceful street of South Parade, just steps away from the centre of Bath. The Role:

We’re looking for a Public Area Attendant to join our team. As part of our Housekeeping Team, your responsibilities include maintaining the cleanliness and good order to create a pleasant environment for our guests and our team. You will perform cleaning and maintenance of all storage areas, public areas and employee areas to the required standard. You will handle any guest queries in a courteous and professional manner and elevate as required, as well as reporting any malfunctioning equipment, damaged furniture or maintenance problems. The guest experience is at the heart of everything we do, so you’ll need to have a passion for providing excellent customer service.

The Ideal Candidate:

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Public Area Attendant with a passion for providing a positive guest experience. Ideally you will also have experience in a similar role, but this is not essential. You’ll need to have excellent personal presentation and a strong work ethic. You will be proactive, able to work under your own initiative and the drive to consistently meet our high standards in terms of cleanliness and brand pillars ensuring our guests have a comfortable stay with us.
