Job summary

Hotel Indigo Bath is seeking a Public Area Attendant to join our friendly housekeeping team. You will clean and maintain public, storage, and staff areas to ensure a pleasant environment for guests and colleagues.

You will also handle guest questions courteously and report any maintenance issues to keep our boutique hotel in top condition. Ideal candidates are outgoing, energetic storytellers who value excellent service.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and order in all public, storage, and employee areas to the required standard.

Set in a beautiful honey coloured Georgian terrace is the boutique Hotel Indigo Bath. Grade one listed our building is steeped in history and sits in the peaceful street of South Parade, just steps away from the centre of Bath. Surrounded by culture Bath is famous for romance, literature and historic architecture; our boutique hotel is a great base to explore this wonderful city.

Our 166 rooms have been perfectly designed with our guests and the city in mind. The Role:

We’re looking for aPublic Area Attendant to join our team. As part of our Housekeeping Team, your responsibilities include maintaining the cleanliness and good order to create a pleasant environment for our guests and our team. You will perform cleaning and maintenance of all storage areas, public areas and employee areas to the required standard. You will handle any guest queries in a courteous and professional manner and elevate as required, as well as reporting any malfunctioning equipment, damaged furniture or maintenance problems. The guest experience is at the heart of everything we do, so you’ll need to have a passion for providing excellent customer service.

The Ideal Candidate:

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Public Area Attendant with a passion for providing a positive guest experience. Ideally you will also have experience in a similar role, but this is not essential. You’ll need to have excellent personal presentation and a strong work ethic. You will be proactive, able to work under your own initiative and the drive to consistently meet our high standards in terms of cleanliness and brand pillars ensuring our guests have a comfortable stay with us.
