Job summary

The Anglesey Arms in Chichester is seeking a dedicated Supervisor to oversee daily pub operations and ensure guests have an exceptional experience. You will lead front-of-house and kitchen staff, manage stock, and coordinate with management on promotions.

Ideal candidates have supervisory hospitality experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role offers a live-in opportunity and the chance to grow toward an assistant manager position

Qualifications

Proven experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Supervise and support the pub staff, including front of house and kitchen staff.
Ensure excellent customer service and address guest concerns promptly.
Manage stocks and order supplies as needed.
Oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of the pub.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Assist with staff training.
Handle cash and financial transactions accurately.
Coordinate with management to implement promotions and events.
