Job summary

Marston’s PLC is seeking a Supervisor to join our team in a busy pub environment. You’ll lead and support the team to deliver memorable guest experiences, with a focus on great service, smooth shifts and a welcoming atmosphere.

You’ll open and close shifts, manage stock and cash, coach colleagues, and work with the pub management team to run the business efficiently. Flexible and part-time hours are available, with clear progression through our DNA programme.

Qualifications

• Have previous experience in a similar Supervisor or Team Leader role.
• Work with wider pub management team to ensure the business runs efficiently and profitably.
• Opening and closing, stocking, and cashing up.
• Be a role model for customer service.
• Ability to think on the spot and use your initiative.
• Accountable for the smooth running of shifts and for managing all aspects of the pub when the wider management team is away.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the team to deliver great guest experiences.
• Support the pub management team to run the business efficiently and profitably.
• Open and close shifts, stock, and cash up with accuracy.
• Model excellent customer service and guest interaction.
• Think on your feet and take initiative to resolve issues.
• Oversee shifts when senior managers are away to ensure smooth operation.
