Job summary

Marston's is seeking a proactive Supervisor to join our Brough team. You’ll lead a busy, friendly pub operation, opening and closing, stocking, and cashing up while delivering happy moments for guests.

You’ll thrive in a lively environment, mentoring team members, collaborating with the pub management group to run the business efficiently and profitably, and using your initiative to handle everyday challenges with a smile.

Qualifications

• Have previous experience in a similar Supervisor or Team Leader role.
• Work with wider pub management team to ensure the business runs efficiently and profitably.
• Opening and closing, stocking, and cashing up.
• Be a role model for customer service.
• Ability to think on the spot and use your initiative.
• Accountable for the smooth running of shifts and for managing all aspects of the pub when the wider management team is away.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the team to deliver great guest experiences.
• Collaborate with pub management to run daily operations efficiently and profitably.
• Oversee opening/closing, stock, and cash handling.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and lead by example.
• Use initiative to handle on-the-spot issues during shifts.
• Ensure smooth shift execution in absence of senior management.
