Job summary

Park Holidays UK Ltd. Bowland Fell Holiday Park, Skipton, is seeking a Retail Manager to lead our on-park retail outlets, bar and food services, and a team responsible for stock, budgets and guest satisfaction.

You will ensure compliance with alcohol, food safety and gambling regulations while maintaining health and safety standards. The role requires flexibility for weekends and peak periods. A supportive, development-focused environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail management or hospitality.
• Strong leadership and ability to recruit, train and manage performance.
• Budgeting, stock control and profitability skills.
• Understanding of food, beverage and retail operations.
• Knowledge of alcohol, food safety and gambling regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays and peak periods.
• DBS check is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a retail strategy to maximise bar and food sales.
• Recruit, train, and manage the retail team to high service standards.
• Oversee stock control, supplier relationships and wastage minimisation.
• Plan and manage budgets and track KPIs for sales and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with alcohol, food safety, gambling, and health and safety laws.
• Maintain safe, clean retail areas and consistent guest experience.
• Set high service standards across the business and train staff.
• Provide product knowledge and ensure team qualifications.
