Job summary

Greene King is seeking a General Manager to lead a busy pub, develop your team, and create a warm welcome for customers. You’ll lead by example and ensure guests have a great time from opening to close.

You will recruit and develop staff, uphold brand standards, drive sales and P&L, maintain safety, and build an inclusive culture where locals feel valued. A personal licence may be required; training and progression are available.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a site in hospitality.
• Strong people leadership and communication.
• Understanding of P&L and cost controls.

Responsibilities

• Work with your business development manager and management team to grow pub sales.
• Lead by example in everything you do and bring our brand to life through your team in delivering amazing experiences for our customers.
• You will recruit & develop your team to ensure they have the knowledge needed to delight our customers.
• Be a champion of brand standards & ensure customer & team safety at all times.
• Please be aware that if you are successful in this role you will need to either already have, or be able to acquire a personal license.
