Job summary

Marston’s pub team is hiring a Commis Chef to prep, create and bring our pub menu to life. You’ll learn prepping skills, start a kitchen section and work in a fast-paced team to deliver hot dishes to spec.

We offer a supportive internal career pathway, flexible and part-time hours, a restaurant-based rewards program, meal deal at £4.50 while on shift, and a friendly, lively atmosphere with opportunity to progress toward Sous Chef.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar chef role or an experienced KP.
• Willing to learn about kitchen areas and procedures.
• Able to work within a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion to deliver great, hot food to spec every time.

Responsibilities

• Prep, create and bring our pub menu to life.
• Learn prepping skills and own a section of the kitchen.
• Support the kitchen team with day-to-day running and tasks.
• Contribute to delivering hot food to spec in a timely manner.
