Job summary

Marston’s is seeking a Commis Chef to join our team at a busy local pub. You’ll prep, create and bring our pub menu to life, learning new skills and owning a section of the kitchen.

The role offers development through our DNA pathway toward Sous Chef, with plenty of opportunities to grow your career. You’ll work in a fast-paced kitchen, collaborate with a passionate team, and deliver great, hot food to spec every shift.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar Chef role or an experienced KP.
• Know or be willing to learn about kitchen areas and procedures.
• Work within a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Help to support the kitchen team with day-to-day running of the kitchen.
• Have a passion to deliver great, hot food to spec every time.

Responsibilities

• Be involved in prep, cooking and presenting dishes.
• Assist in maintaining kitchen cleanliness and food safety standards.
• Support senior chefs during service and busy periods.
• Contribute to smooth day-to-day kitchen operations.
