Job summary

Matchtech Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to lead the electrical delivery on the East Coast Main Line contract. You will oversee site teams across multiple locations, ensuring safety, programme delivery, and quality across all works.

The role requires a strong background in electrical installations within rail telecoms, station systems, M&E, or infrastructure projects, plus leadership experience on multi-site schemes.

Qualifications

• Experience on rail or infrastructure projects as Construction/Electrical/Site Manager or Senior Supervisor.
• Experience delivering electrical, telecoms, station systems, power, M&E installations.
• Valid PTS certification and current ECS card.
• SMSTS qualification and strong construction management knowledge.
• Experience managing subcontractors and multi-disciplinary site teams.
• Excellent communication, planning, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced rail environment.

Responsibilities

East Coast Main Line | Contract | Days & Nights

We're looking for an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to support the delivery of a major programme of works on the East Coast Main Line.

This role is ideally suited to someone with a strong background in electrical installation, rail telecoms, station systems, M&E, power, or infrastructure projects who has progressed into site and project leadership. You'll play a key role in planning, coordinating, and managing the safe delivery of electrical works across multiple sites and work fronts.

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience as a Construction Manager, Electrical Manager, Site Manager, or Senior Supervisor on rail or infrastructure projects
• Experience delivering electrical, telecoms, station systems, power, M&E, or infrastructure installations
• Valid PTS certification
• Current ECS card
• SMSTS qualification
• Strong understanding of construction management, programme delivery, and commercial awareness
• Experience managing subcontractors and multi-disciplinary site teams
• Excellent communication, planning, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced rail environment
