Job summary

Matchtech Group is seeking an experienced PTS Electrician for a long-term rail infrastructure project on the East Coast Main Line. You will perform electrical installation, testing, maintenance and upgrades across railway assets, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

Experience in rail or industrial environments is essential, with valid PTS and ECS Gold Card, and NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation. Immediate starts available on a mixture of day and night shifts.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electrician within rail, infrastructure, construction, or industrial environments.
• Valid PTS certification
• Current ECS Gold Card
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent qualification
• Experience with containment, cabling, and electrical infrastructure installations
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation
• A reliable and proactive approach to work

Responsibilities

• Carrying out electrical installation, testing, and maintenance activities on rail infrastructure projects
• Installing containment, tray, trunking, conduit, and cabling systems
• Reading and working from drawings, schematics, and installation plans
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with relevant standards, specifications, and safety procedures
• Working closely with supervisors, engineers, and other site teams to ensure successful project delivery
• Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment at all times

We're looking for experienced PTS Electricians to join a major programme of works on the East Coast Main Line. This is a great opportunity to work on a long-term rail infrastructure project carrying out electrical installation, maintenance, and upgrade works across a range of railway assets.

The successful candidates will have a strong electrical background and be comfortable working in a rail environment, delivering work safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
