Sociology & Psychology Teacher – Sittingbourne

Are you passionate about exploring human behaviour, society, and the mind? This thriving and well-established school in Sittingbourne is looking for a dedicated Sociology & Psychology Teacher to join its high achieving team.

Contract: Full time, Long Term – September start

Salary: £162 - £223 per day

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and thought-provoking Sociology & Psychology lessons across KS4 and KS5.
• Foster critical thinking, debate, and independent learning in students.
• Support students in exam preparation, coursework, and research projects.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Social Sciences curriculum.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and discussion.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
• A degree in Sociology, Psychology, or a related field.
• Strong subject knowledge with experience teaching at KS4 and KS5.
• Ability to inspire students through engaging and interactive teaching methods.
• Excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to student development.
