Are you a passionate and inspiring Psychology Teacher ready for a new challenge? A dynamic secondary school in Richmond is seeking an enthusiastic educator to join their Social Sciences faculty from September 2025. This is a full-time position with the potential to transition from temporary to permanent for the right candidate.
You’ll be teaching Psychology across KS4 and KS5, delivering stimulating and thought-provoking lessons that explore human behaviour, mental processes, and societal interactions. The department fosters a welcoming and intellectually curious environment, encouraging students to think critically and develop transferable life skills.
Plan and deliver high-quality Psychology lessons up to A Level
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Inspire students to engage with the subject through innovative teaching
Support student progress through effective assessment and feedback
Contribute to the wider success of the Social Sciences department
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching Psychology at secondary level, including KS5
Strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for Psychology
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
A commitment to ongoing professional development

All pay rates quoted include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position, however the option to move to a permanent contract may be offered later.
