Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant

Prospero Teaching is seeking enthusiastic and ambitious Psychology graduates to work as Teaching Assistants in Knutsford. Prior tutoring experience is beneficial but not essential. The role involves supporting children with varying learning abilities and special educational needs, providing an environment where they can thrive. This position is ideal for those interested in pursuing careers in Educational Psychology or PGCE.

• Position – Teaching Assistant
• Type of work – 1:1 support for children and young adults with SEN and behavioral challenges
• Contract type – Temporary
• Rate of pay – Minimum £90 per day
• Hours – 8:30 am – 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday (term time only)

Responsibilities:

• Supporting children with SEN
• Assisting pupils to reach their full potential
• Building rapport and supporting social and behavioral development

Role Requirements:

• Psychology (BA Hons) degree
• Clean and relevant DBS (can be obtained through Prospero Teaching)
• Safeguarding certificate
• Enthusiastic and committed attitude
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships

Eligibility:

• Right to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS certificate (registered with the online update service or willing to apply)
