The Role
As a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will support class teachers in delivering targeted interventions and providing one-to-one support to children who may need additional help with their learning or emotional development. You will help create a positive learning environment, assist with behaviour management strategies, and contribute to the overall progress and well-being of pupils in Key Stage 2.
The Candidate
This role is perfect for a recent Psychology graduate who is considering a career in education, educational psychology, or child mental health. You should have a strong understanding of child development, excellent communication skills, and a calm, empathetic approach to working with children. Experience in a school or childcare setting is desirable but not essential.
