Role involves 1:1 and small-group support with SEND/SEMH needs, collaboration with teachers and pastoral staff, and safeguarding obligations including enhanced DBS checks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology or closely related field.
• Strong interest in working with children and young people.
• Excellent communication and empathy with pupils and colleagues.
• Patient, proactive and resilient approach.

Responsibilities

• Support students 1:1 or in small groups to develop emotional regulation and positive behaviour.
• Assist with tailored interventions for students with SEND, SEMH, or communication needs.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and pastoral teams to remove barriers to learning.
• Build trusting relationships with pupils to improve engagement and wellbeing.
• Observe and report on behavioural patterns to help inform support strategies.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
