Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment Ltd. Wirral is seeking psychology graduates to work in secondary schools, supporting pupils with learning needs.

This hands-on role helps you apply psychological principles in education and build practical experience in SEND contexts. You'll provide one-to-one and small-group support, foster confidence and emotional regulation, and collaborate with teachers and SEN teams to create inclusive classrooms.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one support for pupils who require additional help with their learning and development.

• Help pupils develop their confidence, social skills and emotional regulation.
• Work alongside teachers and SEN teams to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Support small groups and individual pupils with classroom activities.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and encourage engagement with learning.

The Role

As a Psychology Graduate working in a school, you could:

• Provide one-to-one support for pupils who require additional help with their learning and development.

Who We're Looking For

• A recent graduate, or someone with a degree, in Psychology or a related subject.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Someone who is keen to learn and develop their experience working with young people.
• Previous experience working with children or young people is beneficial but not always essential.
