Job summary

Aspire People is seeking a Psychology graduate to join our SEN team in Royston/Meldreth, Hertfordshire. The role offers full-time, term-time hours with a temporary to permanent contract and a salary of £22,996–£25,068 per year, depending on experience.

You will support children aged 6-19 with autism, ADHD and other needs, under the guidance of experienced staff. This is hands-on, school-based experience ideal for clinical or educational psychology pathways.

Qualifications

  • GCSE English and Maths, or equivalent.
  • Psychology graduate with interest in education or health.
  • Patient, compassionate and resilient.
  • Confident communicating with children and professionals.
  • Willing to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Support students with learning and development.
  • Provide one-to-one and small-group assistance.
  • Help students develop communication, independence and wellbeing.
  • Create a positive, safe and nurturing environment.

Whether you're considering Clinical or Educational Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Mental Health, Teaching or Social Care, this role could give you the hands-on experience you're looking for.


You’ll work within a specialist school supporting children and young people aged 6-19, alongside experienced teachers, therapists and healthcare professionals.


The students you support may have Autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, communication needs and SEMH needs.


What You'll Be Doing
