Job summary

Guardian Jobs in Cambridge is seeking a Psychology graduate to join a school’s SEN team as a Teaching Assistant, September 2026 to July 2027 (term-time only). You will provide 1:1 and small-group support for students with SEN, work alongside experienced teachers, and help pupils with ASD, ADHD, PTSD and behavioural challenges, contributing to their progress and well-being.

You’ll tailor interventions and track progress, collaborating with Educational Psychologists and Speech & Language

Qualifications

• Degree in Psychology with first-class honours from a UK university.
• Interest in SEN and supporting vulnerable pupils.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEN.
• Assist SEN teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management.
• Support pupils with ASD, ADHD, PTSD, and behavioural issues.
