Job summary

Protocol Education are recruiting for Psychology Graduates/Students who are looking to build their experience of working with children in schools. You will mostly be working alongside the class teacher to provide support to the children and in some cases on a 1:1 basis.

We can offer full or part time and flexible days across a variety of schools and pupils, including those with complex learning needs. A calm, patient, and friendly approach is essential to thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• No formal qualifications or experience required.
• Drive and passion to make a difference to children's lives.
• Patience, friendly approach and good sense of humour are required.
• Willing to support across different ages and needs.

Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher in learning activities.
• Manage pupil behaviour and maintain a constructive environment.
• De-escalate situations and follow safeguarding procedures.
• Carry out small group work and support children with additional needs.
• Report safeguarding concerns using school policies.
