Job summary

Vertas is seeking a PSV driver at our Rougham depot to provide safe and courteous school transport, while supporting our private hire service. You will drive to a timetable, complete daily walk-round checks, and record hours on a tachograph.

The role requires an enhanced DBS check, a Children's Barred List check where applicable, right to work, references, and health clearance. You will keep vehicles clean, fuelled and ready, and promote the Vertas brand across driving duties.

Job description

PSV driver at Vertas's Rougham depot, moving passengers mainly school children and helping to build up the firm's private hire business. Most of the work is safe, punctual passenger transport, with daily walk-round checks, tachograph recording and keeping the vehicle clean and fuelled. The hours are mostly Monday to Friday, 37.5 a week over 39 weeks a year, with no starts before 06:30 or finishes after 17:30. Applicants need an enhanced DBS check and must declare unprotected cautions and convictions.
