Job summary

Monzo is expanding its Prudential Risk team and seeks a Manager for 2nd Line Prudential Risk Oversight. You will partner with 1st Line to oversee ICAAP, Recovery Plan and related RAF barriers, interpreting regulations and supporting financial models in forecasting, capital planning and stress testing.

You'll review regulatory submissions, build strong cross‑functional relationships across the three lines of defense, and challenge processes to ensure robust prudential compliance while enabling

Qualifications

• Experience interpreting/ challenging capital prudential regulations.
• Advanced data analysis and modelling for financial forecasting and capital planning.
• Ability to build strong relationships across 3 lines of defence and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ICAAP, Recovery Plan and related RAF barriers with 1st Line.
• Interpret regulatory changes and assess impact on models and controls.
• Produce reports and options for risk committees and Board; recommend controls.
• Review stress testing outputs (Anaplan) for ICAAP and Recovery Planning.
• Conduct independent assurance reviews on risk areas and controls.
