Job summary

Monzo is seeking a driven professional for its Enterprise Risk team in London or UK Remote. You will design and maintain risk reporting, develop processes with Group Risk, and provide insightful analytics for senior stakeholders.

You’ll analyze risk data, produce CAP papers, and support the ERM Framework across Monzo Bank Limited. The role involves collaborating with the Group Risk team, shaping risk taxonomy, and contributing to governance and culture initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in risk reporting and risk data management.
• Confident managing stakeholders at all levels and building effective working relationships across defence lines.
• Ability to prioritise work at both tactical and strategic levels.
• Experience designing and delivering strategic risk initiatives, including risk change.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and alignment with Tone of Voice.
• Role model for our values and behaviours.

Responsibilities

• Designing and maintaining easy to understand, easy to operate risk reporting processes for Monzo Bank Limited, ensuring all reporting satisfies Group requirements.
• Developing risk reporting processes alongside the Group Risk Reporting team that are fit for purpose and provide meaningful business intelligence for both first and second line teams.
• Understanding and analysing risk data to produce insightful reporting for senior stakeholders, including committee reporting.
• Producing Monzo Bank Limited Combined Assurance Plan (CAP) papers.
• Supporting the operation and embedding of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERMF) across Monzo Bank Limited, ensuring consistent, proportionate application and effectiveness.
• Working collaboratively with the Group Risk team to ensure the Group Risk Taxonomy remains fit for purpose.
• Supporting the smooth operation of the Monzo Bank Limited Enterprise Risk & Compliance Committee, including oversight of committee governance, minutes, action tracking and annual reviews.
• Supporting the Group Risk Culture agenda and assisting with annual and mid-year risk culture updates.
