Monmouthshire County Council is seeking an outstanding Teaching Assistant to join the Inclusion Service, supporting pupils with additional learning needs and contributing to wellbeing and progress.
The role focuses on helping pupils gain independence, participate in the curriculum, and access learning in a trauma-informed, supportive environment, with full induction and ongoing development.

The Inclusion Service continues to strive for excellence, in a with a model of specialist provision that is person-centred, prioritises wellbeing and access to learning to secure progress. We are seeking to appoint an outstanding practitioner who is ready to take a role in the further development of our specialist provision.
Monmouthshire's model of specialist provision is for children with additional learning needs who are in receipt of Individual Development Plans, with a primary need in the area of social, emotional and mental health, in many cases, linked to neuro divergence.
Monmouthshire's Inclusion Service are committed to developing the potential of all staff and pupils. A full programme of professional learning, training and support helps foster trauma-informed, relational and restorative practice to underpin sound pedagogy.
The successful candidate will contribute significantly to supporting our pupils as part of an experienced, open and collaborative service. Full induction and continuous professional development will be provided by the service.
The goal is to enhance pupils' wellbeing and self-worth so that they can confidently achieve alongside their peers.
