Job summary

Academics seeks enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistants to support pupils in Monmouthshire. You will work with teachers to provide classroom support, deliver small group interventions and foster a positive learning environment where every child can participate and succeed.

The role offers flexible day-to-day, long-term and permanent opportunities, with the chance to join schools across Monmouthshire and receive ongoing consultant support.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a school or educational setting.
• Holds a Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience.
• Enhanced DBS (registered on Update Service) and EWC where applicable.
• Two professional references.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in learning and development alongside class teachers.
• Deliver small group interventions and assist with classroom activities.
• Help create a positive learning environment that encourages participation.
