Forza Foods Ltd, in collaboration with IPL and Kober, seeks a Production Operative - Protein for our onsite bacon slicing and packing facility in Cleckheaton. You will contribute to day-to-day operations in a high-care chilled environment, focusing on quality and safety.

This fixed-term role runs Monday to Friday with rotating shifts, offering training, a supportive team, and opportunities to develop within our production network.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of working in a fast-paced environment is essential, specifically within a food production or chilled environment background is desirable.
• You should have good practical skills and the ability to work quickly and methodically and within a team whilst have the ability to concentrate whilst doing repetitive tasks and follow instructions.
• With a ‘Can do’ attitude and proactive approach, you should have an understanding of health and safety policies in the work place and entry level in both written and spoken English.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Willingness to work in a chilled environment (protective clothing provided)

Responsibilities

• As a Production Operative, you will play a vital part in our day-to-day operations, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
• You will work within a high care chilled environment, handling food products, operating machinery, and adhering to strict hygiene and safety procedures.
• You will ensure products are correctly packed and labelled to target in line with company and customer expectations and ensure that you report any defects or poor quality to a Line Leader.
• You will correctly pack finished goods safely, to specification standards and in the correct orientation within each box and safely stack boxes to a required height.
