Job summary

The Butchers Recruiter are looking for several Food Production Operatives in Coventry. These are long-term opportunities, with ongoing work from June until into 2027, with a high likelihood of this turning into a permanent job.

You will be working in a chilled environment, handling raw or cured meat (pork/bacon/gammon) through processing, slicing, packing, and delivery - all to customer specifications and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in food production is advantageous.
• Ability to work in a chilled environment.
• Capable of handling raw or cured meat to specs.

Responsibilities

• Processing, slicing, and weighing products.
• Grading and packing to customer specs.
• Checking labels and packaging.
• Palletising finished goods.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area.
• Reporting health & safety concerns.
• Working as part of a team to meet targets.
• Following all company policies and procedures.

Working Hours:

14.00 to 22:00 Monday to Friday
