Legal & General is recruiting an Initial Risk Underwriter to join our Retail Protection team. You’ll assess applications for protection cover, weigh risk factors, and make fair decisions. Previous life assurance or medical/scientific background is valued, with training available.

You’ll use your judgment to build specialist knowledge, handle cases within your authority, and support customers with clear, professional responses while building regulatory and underwriting know‑how.
