Job summary

GCB Recruitment is seeking an experienced Protection Advisor for a self-employed, remote role based in Essex. You will provide tailored protection advice and convert appointments into protection business, with leads supplied by the in-house Mortgage Team.

You will work Monday–Friday in a fully remote arrangement, earning a strong OTE of £70,000–£80,000 with a 35% commission on all business and all leads provided. This is a growing financial services business offering excellent earning potential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Protection Advisor.
• CAS status held.
• Strong knowledge of protection products and advice process.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Customer-focused with service excellence.

Experienced in protection advice and looking for a role with a strong flow of qualified leads?

We're recruiting for a Protection Advisor to join a growing and successful financial services firm based in Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and experienced Protection Advisor to build a successful portfolio while benefiting from leads generated by the in-house Mortgage Team.

The role is offered on a self-employed, fully remote basis, with excellent earning potential and a Monday–Friday working pattern.

The Role

As a Protection Advisor, you will:

• Provide expert protection advice tailored to individual client needs
• Convert appointments into written protection business
• Manage the advice process from initial appointment through to completion
• Deliver exceptional customer service and build long-term client relationships
• Write high-quality protection business in line with client requirements
• Work closely with the in-house Mortgage Team to maximise opportunities from mortgage clients

Protection Advisor requirements:

• Proven experience working as a Protection Advisor
• CAS status
• Strong knowledge of protection products and the advice process
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A customer-focused approach with a passion for delivering exceptional service
• Driven, motivated and commercially minded
• Able to work effectively on a self-employed, remote basis
