Job summary

Telford College is seeking a ProSuite Systems Specialist to lead the strategic management, development and compliance of ProSuite platforms (ProSolution, ProMonitor, Smart Assessor) to support curriculum delivery and funding compliance.

You will establish robust data assurance, validate ILR and funding data, and work with MIS, Finance and Curriculum to deliver reliable management information and training materials.

Qualifications

• Experience administering and developing ProSuite systems (ProSolution/ProMonitor/Smart Assessor).
• Understanding of FE funding methodologies and learner data management.
• Knowledge of ILR requirements and DfE funding rules.
• Experience in data assurance, validation and reconciliation processes.
• Experience producing management information, reports and data analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Level 2 Maths and English at GCSE A-C (or equivalent) or willingness to achieve with College support.
• Level 3+ IT or related qualification.

Responsibilities

• Act as College's lead specialist and system owner for ProSuite products.
• Lead configuration, development and enhancement of ProSuite systems to meet requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and automate tasks.
• Ensure system capability is fully utilised including automated tasks and messages.
• Develop and maintain data assurance processes across all ProSuite systems.
• Perform validation and reconciliation to ensure data aligns with reference points and funding/audit needs.
• Provide data trend analysis to curriculum, quality and senior leadership teams.
• Work with MIS, Finance, Quality and Curriculum for consistent reporting definitions.
• Provide expert staff support on ProSuite usage.
• Develop and deliver training sessions, user guides and briefing materials.
• Collaborate with MIS/IT and suppliers for integration between ProSuite and other systems.
• Support data imports/exports, APIs and automated workflows.
• Engage with curriculum/quality/student services to understand operational needs.

Job description

The ProSuite Systems Specialist will lead the strategic management, development, optimisation and compliance of the College's ProSuite platforms, including ProSolution, ProMonitor, Smart Assessor and associated systems. Acting as the College's subject matter expert, the postholder will ensure systems are effectively configured and utilised to support curriculum delivery, learner management, funding compliance, performance monitoring and operational efficiency. A key aspect of the role will be to establish and maintain robust data assurance processes, ensuring information held within ProSuite systems is accurate, consistent and reconciled against agreed reference points and source systems, and is reliable and fit for funding, audit and performance reporting purposes.

• Undertake regular validation and reconciliation exercises to ensure data aligns with agreed reference points, including ILR submissions, awarding body data, curriculum planning data and other management information systems.
• Provide analysis and interpretation of data trends to curriculum, quality and senior leadership teams.
• Work closely with MIS, Finance, Quality and Curriculum teams to ensure consistent reporting methodologies and data definitions.
• Provide expert support and advice to staff on the effective use of ProSuite systems.
• Develop and deliver training sessions, workshops, user guides and briefing materials.
• Work collaboratively with MIS, IT and system suppliers to ensure effective integration between ProSuite and other College systems.
• Support the creation of data imports, exports, APIs and automated workflows.
• Work closely with curriculum, quality, student services and support teams to understand operational requirements and develop effective system solutions.

Qualifications & Training

• Experience of administering and developing ProSuite systems, including ProSolution, ProMonitor and/or Smart Assessor.
• Understanding of Further Education funding methodologies and learner data management.
• Knowledge of ILR requirements and DfE funding rules.
• Experience of data assurance, validation and reconciliation processes.
• Experience of producing management information, reports and data analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Level 2 qualification (GCSE A - C, or equivalent) in Maths and English or a willingness to attain these qualifications with the support of the College
• Level 3 or above in IT or other relevant qualification.
