Job summary

Serco Limited in the United Kingdom seeks a Propulsion Technician to maintain EJ200 engines and related accessories for the Typhoon platform. You will ensure mission readiness and perform engine repairs and inspections per technical documentation.

The role involves moving assets within the propulsion facility, using LLIs, and maintaining records while adhering to MA A regulations. A proactive, detail-oriented mindset and IT literacy are essential.

Qualifications

• SC clearance required or able to obtain clearance.
• Experience of engine maintenance within an operational environment.
• Able to work effectively in a changing environment.
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive and positive approach.
• Good communication skills and confidence working from technical documentation.
• IT literate and comfortable learning new systems.

Responsibilities

• Safely move assets within the Typhoon Propulsion Support Facility using forklifts and cranes.
• Unpack and repack engines and line replaceable items (LRIs) as required.
• Conduct visual and borescope inspections on engines and related hardware.
• Perform EJ200 engine repairs and maintenance activities.
• Remove, install, and repair engine modules and accessories.
• Complete work orders and maintenance records using engine and aircraft electronic systems.
• Support continuous improvement to ensure MA A regulations compliance.
• Maintain competency across practical and data-based engine maintenance processes.
