Job summary

Intertek is seeking a Propulsion Test Technician to join our engine testing environment in the United Kingdom. You will prepare test hardware, operate engine test facilities, monitor activity, and support troubleshooting and maintenance while delivering testing programs for diverse industries.

Working with experienced engineers, you will help develop test plans, record data, and produce reports. You will be part of a customer‑focused, results‑driven team with opportunities for hands‑on growth

Qualifications

Hands-on experience in automotive, mechanical, electrical, mechatronic or similar industry‑relevant environment.
Excellent teamwork and customer-focused service.
Strong communication skills, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

Conduct propulsion tests using laboratory-based facilities.
Assist in developing test plans to simulate real-world conditions across automotive, motorsport, aerospace, and commercial sectors.
Support project setup activities and engage stakeholders in Intertek's processes.
Monitor and record test data to meet quality and performance standards.
Prepare comprehensive test reports with findings and recommendations for management and clients.
Assist in troubleshooting technical issues during testing and contribute to solutions to prevent recurrence.
