Job summary

Leonardo S.p.A. in the UK is seeking a Support Engineer to join the CS3 line at RAF Coningsby, Lincolnshire. The role covers multi-skilled field service for the UK Typhoon Force with MoD and industry partners, including on- and off-aircraft support.

You will work shifts, maintain certifications, and be prepared to travel overseas. The position requires physical fitness and willingness to be vaccinated where required, with a focus on keeping assets on wing and supporting trials and development.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Experience with aircraft and maintenance environments.
• Willingness to travel domestically and overseas.
• Physically capable for overseas travel and medical checks.
• Willingness to be vaccinated for overseas travel per MoD rules.

Responsibilities

• Act as Captor Radar and Praetorian DASS focal point for UK MoD and industry customers.
• Assist customers with technical and logistics issues across regulatory environments.
• Manage operational priorities and keep assets on wing where possible.
• Support trials, development work, and Typhoon Part 145/Part M environments.
• Support Leonardo back-office functions and maintain currency via training and approvals.
