Legal & General is a leading UK financial services group offering retirement and protection solutions. The Assistant Propositions Manager role sits in Retail Protection within the Product & Propositions Development team.

You’ll work with data, provide insights, and support product launches across Finance, claims, underwriting, pricing, servicing and IT. You’ll build knowledge in tax and trust over time and engage with stakeholders to improve customer outcomes through clear MI and competitor

Qualifications

Familiarity with Retail Protection products and how they connect to customer outcomes.
Strong analytical capability with data and MI.
Ability to produce clear, well-structured information for stakeholders.
Curiosity about product propositions and learning in tax/trust areas.

Responsibilities

Support review and development of Retail Protection products through MI, market and competitor analysis.
Produce reports and insight summaries to identify opportunities and improve outcomes.
Collaborate with Finance, claims, underwriting, pricing, servicing, IT and change on proposition activity.
Prepare supporting documents for product development approvals and committees.
Support product launches with sales briefs, training materials and updates.
Monitor competitor activity and comparison portals (e.g., FTRC, CI Expert).
Respond to queries from distribution and internal teams.
Build knowledge in areas like tax and trust over time.
