You’ll be joining our Highways maintenance team, as the UK’s number one highway maintenance contractor, our teams use the latest innovations to create effective solutions. We offer a range of services including planned and reactive maintenance and highway improvement schemes.

What will you be doing?
You'll be accountable for the coordination of strategic bids (particularly larger TMC and significant Project Sector bids), including bid programme, quality submission and priced submission.
Whilst carrying out hands on bid writing duties and ownership of questions from storyboard through to final submission.
Collaborate with and influence the bid team to establish common and specific win themes, differentiators and effective tender strategies.
You'll work alongside the Bid Director to manage bid teams and inputs from key stakeholders, typically engaging with business development, estimating, writing, commercial and operational teams.
Collaborate with bid core team to develop detailed bid programme, with critical path and owners identified, ensuring programme is tracked and monitored on a weekly basis.
We'll ask you to co-ordinate and plan all client presentations and negotiation preparation required as part of the bid submission.
You'll be delivering prequalification and bid submissions, workshops and bid writing activities.
You'll be the direct lead of a team of writers, providing coaching, development and guidance.
