Lime is hiring a Senior Manager, Proposals to join our Global Proposals team. Reporting to the Head of Proposals, you will manage a team of bid professionals responsible for all competitive opportunities across EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa).

The ideal candidate has experience scaling teams, products, or processes in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and can balance execution with strategy. In this role, you will help design and implement systems that enable us to move quickly while maintaining quality and efficiency. What you will do:

• Oversee the full bid lifecycle, from pre-release preparation and bid analysis to final submission and post-bid reviews.

• Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing team.

• Set team goals, establish KPIs, and ensure performance management processes are upheld.

• Conduct regular 1:1s and team meetings to align efforts, share knowledge, and resolve challenges.

• Serve as lead proposal manager on high-priority or complex bids.

• Ensure consistency, compliance, and strategic alignment of all submissions with business objectives.

• Act as the key liaison between the proposals team and cross-functional stakeholders.

• Report on bid pipeline progress, win/loss trends, and proposal quality metrics to leadership. Provide insight-driven recommendations for future bid planning and strategy.

About you:

• 10+ years experience in proposal management, with city-level B2G procurement experience preferred

• Proven success managing government bids across EMEA regions.

• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to coach and edit others’ bid efforts effectively.

• Familiarity with bid management software (e.g., Responsive, Loopio) and document collaboration tools (e.g., Google Workspace).

• Expert team management and project management skills.

• Confident stakeholder engagement across multiple disciplines and seniority levels.

• Experience working within a large organization.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying and resolving issues.

• Collaborative and team-oriented leadership style with a hands-on attitude.

• Entrepreneurial, with high tolerance for ambiguity and complexity, and efficient with limited resources.

• Ability to discern the cost-benefit analysis of your and your teams’ time and the company resources.
