RSE is seeking a Proposals Engineer to join the Chemical and Wastewater Solutions team on a permanent basis in the UK. You will deliver detailed tender submissions, provide financial management support, and maintain cost performance across projects for our MBBR products, from proposal creation to client presentation.

This role suits engineers looking to move into a front‑end position, with responsibilities spanning leadership on tenders, strategy development, and tight deadline management.

Qualifications

• Degree, HND or equivalent in Engineering or related discipline.
• Proven experience in proposal preparation, technical writing, and cost estimation.
• Strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and proposal management software.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple proposals.
• Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership on opportunities relating to proposals, tendering, and contract review requirements.
• Develop proposal and tendering strategies, delivery plans for new opportunities.
• Review tender documents assessing scope, risks, and complexity; provide feedback.
• Ensure tender/documents are dispatched on time to meet deadlines.
• Price tenders in accordance with schedules of rates and prices.
• Manage delivery of the completed tender pack to the client.
